When carrying out alterations and additions to your home such as extensions or creating open plan living it’s likely that you will need to use steel(s) as a means of support.
We will carry out a site survey and create structural calculations/drawings to enable the correct specification and type of steel used.
Once calculations are complete we will then begin the process of manufacturing the steel to size and specification and delivery to site in minimal time.
The process of installing the steel involves many props, and temporary supports to hold the building secure whilst the wall or part of the structure is removed beneath. It sounds scary but it’s very simple when you know how!
Once the steel is in place and all the temporary props are removed we then clad the steel in fire resistant plasterboard and plaster accordingly.
